Nordic Tan Leather Pendant

The Maxim Mfg. 11356TNBK is a 14.25" wide pendant light combining a black metal shade with a tan leather strap. It suits dining tables, kitchen islands or hallway clusters where a warm, Scandinavian-inspired accent is desired.

Sustained Illumination

The single socket delivers consistent ambient output for extended evening use without the colour shift sometimes seen in integrated LED modules. Heat disperses through the open metal shade, so the fixture remains stable during long dining sessions or overnight hallway lighting.

Pre-Installation Checks

Verify the ceiling box is rated for the fixture weight and that a compatible bulb base matches your preferred lamp type. Confirm the leather strap length suits the required drop height before wiring, and note the Proposition 65 warning regarding chemical content.

Questions about this item

Does the 14.25" pendant generate noticeable heat or noise when left on all day?

The fixture uses a single standard bulb; heat and noise depend on the bulb type chosen, not on the pendant itself.

What electrical fitting must already be in the ceiling for the 11356 pendant to install?

A standard ceiling junction box rated for the fixture weight and a compatible household circuit are required.

Will the tan leather strap on this pendant match the walnut wood finishes on older Maxim fixtures?

The leather strap is a natural tan tone; visual match with existing walnut-finished hardware will vary by age and lighting.
