This Maxim Mfg. pendant is a single-light decorative fixture intended for residential interiors. It suits homeowners who want an artistic glass element that coordinates with mixed hardware finishes. Buyers needing multiple light sources from one canopy or integrated LED modules will not be served by this design. The clear glass shade arrives new and ready for a filament bulb.

Proposition 65 Compliance

California Proposition 65 notices indicate the product contains chemicals known to cause cancer and birth defects or other reproductive harm. These warnings apply to the materials used in the glass and metalwork. The regulatory limit referenced is 65, and the label is required for sale in California. No other safety certifications or material standards are disclosed in the supplied data.

Questions about this item

Which finish should I choose for the Babylon pendant: Matte Black, Satin Brass or Satin Nickel?

The metalwork comes in Matte Black, Satin Brass or Satin Nickel so you can match existing hardware or plumbing finishes in the room.

What does the California Proposition 65 warning mean for daily use of this pendant?

The fixture contains a chemical listed by California as a cancer and reproductive-hazard risk; normal installed use does not create exposure, but wash hands after handling during installation.

How does the clear, elongated glass shape affect the light output in practice?

The unique undulating clear glass lets filament bulbs shine through with minimal diffusion, creating a decorative sparkle rather than broad illumination.
