Babylon 1-Light Pendant

The Maxim Mfg. Babylon 11114CLBK is a single-light pendant designed for residential interior lighting. Its clear glass shade features an elongated, undulating shape that adds a decorative statement to a room. The fixture suits homeowners who want a designer piece that coordinates with existing hardware finishes. It is not suited for buyers who need multiple-light output from a single canopy or integrated LED modules.

Compatibility Check

Verify that the ceiling junction box is rated for the fixture weight and that the wiring meets local code before ordering. Confirm the chosen finish — Matte Black, Satin Brass or Satin Nickel — matches the surrounding plumbing and hardware. Ensure the ceiling height allows the pendant drop length required for the space. The product carries a California Proposition 65 warning for chemicals known to cause cancer and reproductive harm.

Accessories Impact

A coordinating wall sconce is available separately to extend the collection across the room. Using filament bulbs completes the intended vintage aesthetic and influences the light quality. No bulbs are included with the pendant, so the buyer must source the correct base type and wattage. The free manufacturer-direct shipping reduces handling but does not alter installation requirements.
