Rotating Flat Plug Design

The Maximm ADW-360-3103-W is a 3-foot indoor power extension cord built for tight spaces behind furniture or desks. Its 360° rotating flat plug lets you angle the connection in any direction while keeping the lower outlet free. The cord is UL certified for safety and rated at 13 Amp 125 Volt.

Build Quality and Daily Use

A 16-gauge three-conductor wire handles up to 1625 Watts, making it heavier duty than thinner 18 or 20 AWG alternatives. The grounded NEMA 5-15P to NEMA 5-15R connectors provide a secure three-prong fit for PC or TV power cords. White PVC jacketing matches light-coloured walls and baseboards.

Upgrade Context

This cord replaces standard bulky plugs that block adjacent outlets or cannot fit behind flush-mounted furniture. The rotating head solves clearance issues where a fixed right-angle plug would point the wrong way. It is not suited for high-amperage appliances or outdoor environments.

Questions about this item

What current does the 125 V NEMA 5-15P to 5-15R extension cord actually support?

The cord is rated for 13 A at 125 V, giving a maximum of 1625 W, and uses 16 AWG conductors that are heavier than typical 18 or 20 AWG extensions.

How much clearance behind furniture does the 360° rotating flat plug need?

The flat plug measures 6.81 x 2.64 x 1.3 inches and rotates a full 360°, so it fits tight gaps behind desks or bookshelves while keeping the lower outlet free.

How do you orient the rotating plug so the ground pin stays properly aligned?

Insert the flat plug, then rotate it to the desired angle; the 360° mechanism locks at any position while maintaining the grounded NEMA 5-15P connection.
