500 W GaN charging station with eight ports

The MCHOSE 500 W GaN charging station delivers up to 500 W total output through six USB-C and two USB-A ports. It targets users who need to power phones, tablets, headphones, smartwatches and game consoles from a single wall outlet. The compact block measures 4.3 by 2.9 by 1.5 inches and includes a 1.5 m detachable power cord for flexible desk or bedside placement. GaN technology keeps the unit small while handling high combined loads.

Two 100 W PD ports plus four 65 W and two 20 W ports

The station provides two USB-C ports rated at 100 W PD/PPS, four USB-C ports at 65 W PD/PPS and two USB-A ports at 20 W QC. This arrangement lets a MacBook Pro 16 inch M1 or M2 reach 40 % in roughly 30 minutes and a full charge in about two hours while other devices draw power simultaneously. Each port negotiates the optimal voltage so the hub distributes the 500 W budget across all connected gear without manual configuration.

Replaces multiple single-port chargers

This unit consolidates the wall-wart collection that typically clutters a desk or travel bag, freeing up outlets and reducing cable runs. It is not suited for equipment that demands more than 100 W from a single port or for setups requiring dedicated high-amperage DC outputs beyond the USB-PD specification. The step up makes sense when eight simultaneous USB charges replace a tangle of individual adapters.

Questions about this item

Does the 500 W limit throttle when all eight ports run at once?

The station is rated for 500 W total output and each port intelligently distributes power so every connected device receives its optimal share.

How hot or loud does the GaN brick get during all-day charging?

Gallium-nitride components run cooler and quieter than silicon equivalents, so the compact block stays comfortable to touch and silent even under continuous load.

What cable do I need to plug the station into the wall?

A detachable 1.50 m power cord is included, so the unit works straight from any standard AC outlet without extra purchases.
