Purpose-built composition book

The Mead 9920 is a wide-ruled composition book with 100 double-sided sheets. Its black-marble cover uses sewn binding that keeps pages secure and resists snagging on clothing or bags. Inside covers include a class schedule, multiplication tables, conversion tables and grammar rules. Assembled in the U.S.A. with U.S. and foreign parts.

Students, writers and everyday notetakers

Suits anyone who needs a durable, wide-ruled notebook for class notes, journaling or sketching. Not intended for buyers who require perforated pages for easy tear-out, spiral binding that lies flat, or a different ruling such as college or graph paper.

100 wide-ruled sheets

The page count and ruling are the deciding factors: 100 double-sided, wide-ruled sheets measuring 7-1/2 by 9-3/4 inches. If you need more or fewer sheets, or a narrower ruling, this is not the right pad.

Questions about this item

How can I confirm the sewn binding is holding the 100 sheets securely after I start using the book?

Open the book flat and check that every page lies flush at the spine with no loose leaves; the sewn binding is designed to keep all 100 sheets permanently attached.

What comes with the Mead 9920 and what must I purchase separately?

The package contains one composition book with 100 wide-ruled sheets, a black-marble cover and printed reference tables inside; pens, pencils or other writing instruments are not included.

Which version of the Mead 9920 should I choose for standard wide-ruled notetaking?

The 9920 model is the single wide-ruled version with 100 sheets measuring 7-1/2 by 9-3/4 inches, so select this version for classic composition-book use.
