12 VDC 300 A Solenoid Relay for Heavy-Duty Switching
The Meterk US-BR154 is a nickel-plated continuous-duty solenoid designed for 12 VDC systems. It handles a maximum transient flash current of 300 A with a recommended continuous working current under 150 A. The coil uses 180°C copper wire rated at 14 ohms resistance and 10.2 W capacity. It suits golf carts, winches, marine vessels and industrial hydraulic controls.
Direct Replacement for Legacy Part Numbers
This relay replaces part numbers 70-111224, 3635820, 1114208, 1114218, 1114223, 1114534 and 1114547. The upgrade is worth it when an existing solenoid shows contact wear, coil failure or corrosion on the housing. Nickel plating on the cover resists rust and maintains conductivity in harsh environments. Buyers needing a higher continuous rating above 150 A should look elsewhere.
Verify Mounting and Duty Cycle Before Ordering
Confirm the bracket mounting holes measure 5/16 by 19/32 inches with a 2-13/64 inch centre spacing. The contact studs are 5/16-24 thread in both standard and long lengths. Note the duty-cycle limit: typical working current is 80 A with a required 5-second interruption every 50 minutes. Ensure your wiring and control circuit match the 12 VDC coil specification.
