Metra 10617M Stainless Steel & Glass Microfiber Cloth Kit (2 pcs)

Stainless Steel & Glass Cleaning Kit

The Metra 10617M kit provides two specialised microfiber cloths for maintaining stainless steel appliances and glass surfaces. One cloth is designed for cleaning stainless steel while the other handles glass and polishing tasks. Both cloths measure 18 by 15.5 inches and weigh 0.19 pounds combined. The product is new and intended for automotive and household exterior care.

Two-Cloth System Changes the Routine

The bundle pairs a Stainless Steel Cloth with a Glass & Polishing Cloth to create a two-step process. The first cloth lifts grease, grime and microscopic particles using only water. The second cloth absorbs remaining moisture and removes water spots or streaks. This combination replaces disposable sprays, pastes and paper towels with reusable, washable microfiber that lasts through many laundry cycles.

Water-Only Cleaning Has Practical Limits

The cloths rely entirely on water to dissolve and trap contaminants, so heavily baked-on residues or thick oil films may need pre-treatment before the microfiber can work effectively. The 0.03125-inch thickness limits the volume of liquid each cloth can hold during a single pass. Surfaces with deep scratches or etched finishes will not be restored by wiping alone. The 99% removal claim applies to typical grease and grime, not to all possible contaminants.
