Metra 82-8146 speaker adapter pair

This Metra 82-8146 kit provides a pair of 6x9 speaker adapters designed for front-door installation in select Lexus and Toyota vehicles from 2002 through 2014. The brackets allow a standard 6x9 aftermarket speaker to mount securely into the factory opening without cutting or fabrication. Supplied as a pair, they cover both front doors in one purchase.

Fits many 2002-2014 Lexus and Toyota front doors

These adapters suit owners of listed models including the Lexus CT, GX, LS, RX and Toyota 4Runner, Avalon, Camry, FJ Cruiser, Highlander, Land Cruiser, Prius, Sequoia, Solara, Tacoma, Tundra and Venza built within the stated years. Builders working on vehicles outside this application list or installing different speaker sizes will need a different bracket solution.

6x9 speaker cutout compatibility

The decisive specification is the 6x9 cutout pattern; the adapter will only accept speakers built to that exact footprint. If your replacement speakers use a different mounting template, this kit will not work and a different adapter is required.
