Included Hardware & Pocket

A removable oversized storage pocket with integrated radio supports is supplied alongside all necessary mounting hardware. Metra’s patented quick-release snap system uses an ISO-mount design with a custom trim ring. A comprehensive instruction manual guides the installation process.

Build Quality & Daily Use

High-grade ABS plastic is painted matte black and textured to match the factory dashboard appearance. The recessed DIN opening positions the head unit securely behind the trim ring. The contoured design maintains the vehicle’s interior aesthetics while providing a stable mounting platform.

Questions about this item

Will the ABS plastic dash kit or its hardware need periodic replacement after installation?

The high-grade ABS plastic and included hardware are designed for permanent installation; no scheduled replacement is required.

What limits how many radios can be fitted in the recessed DIN opening?

The opening accepts one double DIN radio or two single DIN units, so the physical aperture is the limiting factor.

Does the matte-black ABS panel trap heat or generate noise when the stereo runs all day?

The passive plastic trim does not produce heat or noise; it simply surrounds the radio without affecting its thermal or acoustic performance.
