Metra Zero Scratch Scrub Sponge 6 Pack

This pack contains six non-scratch scrub sponges designed for household cleaning tasks. The sponges use polyester and plastic fibres made from 100 percent recycled content. Each piece features an S-shaped profile intended to improve grip and reach into corners. They are supplied new and ready for immediate use.

Safe for nonstick cookware and glass

The sponges suit kitchens and bathrooms where delicate surfaces such as nonstick pans, glassware and countertops need scratch-free cleaning. They are not intended for stainless steel appliances, so owners of those finishes should choose a different product. Builders or cleaners needing heavy-duty abrasion for baked-on carbon or oven racks will also need a more aggressive pad.

Dishwasher sanitisation up to 20 cycles

Under repeated use the fibres retain their structure and can be sanitised in a dishwasher up to 20 times before replacement. The scrubbing material resists odour buildup during sustained daily cleaning of grease and grime. Performance remains consistent across multiple sessions without the rapid breakdown seen in temperature-reactive alternatives.

They are safe for nonstick pots and pans, glassware, countertops, and most other surfaces. Do not use them on stainless steel appliances.

Will these scratch-free sponges harm the seasoning on my cast iron or the coating on older non-coated cookware I still use?

The non-scratch fibers are designed to clean effectively without damaging coatings, making them suitable for non-coated cookware as well as nonstick surfaces.

How can I confirm the sponges are still hygienic and effective after several uses?

You can sanitise them in the dishwasher up to 20 times; they rinse clean and resist odour throughout that lifespan.
