Space-Saving Compressed Design

These METUUTER applicators arrive as thin 4.2 x 2.3 x .12 inch cards that expand to 4.35 x 2.8 x 1 inches when wet. The compressed format saves storage space while delivering a full-sized cellulose cleaning tool. Each pack contains 12 natural wood-pulp sponges ready for kitchen, bathroom or vehicle use.

Upgrade from Bulk Sponges

The compressed cards replace stacks of pre-expanded sponges that occupy more cupboard room. The jump is worth it when storage is limited and you want a dry, lightweight supply that activates instantly with water. Hydrated sponges maintain shape and absorbency through repeated daily cleaning tasks.

Suits Households and DIY Users

Families needing gentle non-scratch cleaning for dishes, glass, cooktops and car interiors will appreciate the soft cellulose fibers. Parents seeking compostable craft materials for children’s cut-out projects also benefit. Buyers who require abrasive scrubbing pads or heavy-duty scouring power should look elsewhere.

Questions about this item

How much space do the compressed sponges take up in a drawer?

Each dry sponge measures 4.2 by 2.3 by 0.12 inches, so the 12-pack fits in a shallow drawer or cupboard.

What is the correct way to activate a sponge before first use?

Submerge the compressed card in water until it fully expands to 4.35 by 2.8 by 1 inch; using it dry will not clean properly.

When should I throw a sponge out and replace it?

Replace it once the material loses its softness or begins to fall apart during use.
