Iron Man Special Edition phone

The Mi Poco X8 Pro Iron Man Special Edition is an unlocked Android smartphone built around a Dimensity 8500 Ultra chipset. It offers 512 GB of UFS 4.1 storage and 12 GB of RAM for demanding multitasking. The 6.59-inch AMOLED panel delivers 68 billion colours, a 120 Hz refresh rate and 3840 Hz PWM dimming. A 6500 mAh battery supports extended daily use.

For media-heavy users, not minimalists

Buyers who prioritise a bright HDR display with Dolby Vision and HDR10+ will appreciate the 2000 nits high-brightness mode and 3500 nits peak output. The dual 50 MP main camera with OIS and an 8 MP ultrawide suits versatile photography. Shoppers needing expandable storage or a compact form factor should look elsewhere, as there is no card slot and the glass-and-aluminium body measures 157.5 by 75.2 by 8.4 mm.

Straightforward daily setup

As a factory-unlocked handset it accepts two nano-SIMs and works on GSM, HSPA, LTE and 5G networks without carrier configuration. The IP68 and IP69K ratings protect against dust and high-pressure water jets. Common friction points include the lack of a memory-card slot for extra space and the large 6.59-inch footprint, which can make one-handed operation difficult for some users.
