Miady XGM-06 Four-Pack Extension Cords

This four-pack of Miady XGM-06 short power extension cords adds 8 inches of reach to each connection. They suit home or office users who need to fit bulky plugs into crowded power strips or wall outlets without blocking adjacent sockets. Each cord carries a 13 A, 125 V rating on 16 AWG SJT cable.

Installation Ease and Common Issues

The cords plug straight into any standard three-prong outlet or strip; no tools or wiring are required. The lighted female end glows when power is present, confirming the connection instantly. A frequent mistake is daisy-chaining several cords beyond the 13 A total load, which can overheat the 16 AWG conductors.

Limits of the 13 A 125 V Rating

The 16 AWG SJT construction and ETL/cETL listing restrict continuous draw to 13 amps at 125 volts AC. They are not rated for higher voltages, outdoor permanent installation, or loads that exceed the marked amperage. Builders needing longer runs or heavier gauge wire should select a different product.
