Converts analogue RCA composite video and stereo audio to 720p or 1080p HDMI at 60 Hz for legacy consoles and players
This RCA to HDMI converter lets owners of classic consoles such as the PS2, original Xbox and Nintendo 64 connect to modern displays that only have HDMI inputs. It accepts standard composite video with red, white and yellow cables and outputs a digital signal at 720p or 1080p resolution at 60 Hz. The unit is powered by an included USB cable plugged into any 5 V source.
The bundled USB cable supplies the 5 V power the converter requires; no separate mains adapter is included. The device auto-detects PAL, NTSC 3.58, NTSC 4.43, SECAM, PAL/M and PAL/N standards, handling two-channel analog audio alongside the video. A short user manual explains the simple hook-up process.
This adapter converts analog composite signals to HDMI in a single direction and cannot pass a signal from an HDMI source to RCA inputs. It does not upscale or enhance picture quality beyond the 10-bit, 162 MSPS conversion process, and may introduce a few seconds of latency. Audio-only conversion is not supported.

The included USB cable draws 5 V from any standard charger or port; if the cable frays or the connector loosens over time, a generic USB-A to micro-USB lead of the same spec will keep the converter running.
Output is locked to 1080p at 60 Hz; the 162 MSPS sampling engine cannot scale higher, so extended sessions stay at that ceiling without dropping frames.
The compact black enclosure has no fan and draws minimal current over USB, so it stays barely warm to the touch and runs completely silent during continuous operation.
