25 ft Outdoor Extension Cord

This 25-foot cord extends a NEMA 5-15 outlet for indoor or outdoor reach. A 14 AWG SJTW jacket resists weather and abrasion. The fully moulded connectors are rated for 15 amps at 125 volts. UL and cUL listings confirm compliance with North American safety standards.

Heavy-Duty 14 AWG Construction

The three-conductor SJTW cable handles 15 A continuously without overheating. Moulded strain relief protects the NEMA 5-15P plug and 5-15R receptacle from pull damage. RoHS and REACH compliant materials restrict hazardous substances. The black jacket blends into outdoor environments.

Builders Needing Longer Runs

Suits workshops, yards and job sites where a single 25-foot reach is sufficient. Not for buyers who need more length than 25 feet provides. Not for loads exceeding 15 amps or 125 volts. Not for permanent in-wall installation.

Questions about this item

Does the 14 AWG SJTW cable need periodic replacement when used outdoors?

The cord is built with a fully moulded SJTW jacket rated for weather resistance, so no scheduled cable replacement is required under normal outdoor use.

What limits continuous operation at the 15 A 125 V rating?

The 14 AWG conductors set the 15 A limit; sustained loads at that level will warm the cable but stay within its UL and cUL listed capacity.

How much heat does the cord produce during all‑day use at full load?

At 15 A the 14 AWG conductors will become warm to the touch, which is normal for a 25 ft SJTW extension carrying its rated current.
