50 ft CAT8 SFTP Patch Cable

This 50 ft CAT8 SFTP RJ45 patch cable is built for 40 Gbps Ethernet links in datacentres, server rooms and large enterprise networks. The 26 AWG stranded conductors and double shielding suit high-density racks where alien crosstalk must be kept to a minimum. It connects switches, routers and servers that require 2000 MHz bandwidth over copper.

Shielded construction and thermals

The S/FTP structure wraps each twisted pair in aluminium Mylar foil and adds an 85 % tinned copper braid to suppress EMI, RFI and alien crosstalk. Shielded RJ45 plugs with 50 µin gold contacts maintain low contact resistance during repeated mating cycles. The flexible PVC jacket routes cleanly in tight cable managers without kinking.

Upgrade path and fit

The cable replaces CAT5, CAT5e, CAT6, CAT6a and CAT7 links while remaining fully backwards compatible.
