Cat 6A Ultra Slim Patch Cable

This Micro Connectors patch cable is a Cat 6A Ethernet cord built for 10 Gigabit networks. It uses 28 AWG conductors made from 100 percent bare copper and terminates in gold-plated 50-micron contacts. The white jacket measures 15 ft in length.

Installers needing space-saving runs in dense racks

The ultra slim profile is up to 60 percent thinner than standard Cat 6A cable, which reduces clutter and improves airflow in tight cabinets. A snag-less narrow boot eases insertion in high-density patch panels. Builders who require heavier gauge conductors for longer permanent links should look at something else.

Handles 10 Gigabit Ethernet with headroom for PoE

The Cat 6A rating supports 10 Gbps throughput and remains backwards compatible with Cat 6, Cat 5e and Cat 5 equipment. At 15 ft the run stays well within the 100 metre channel limit, so signal margin is generous. Runs exceeding the standard channel distance will need a different solution.
