Microsoft Surface Laptop 5 13.5" Core i7

This new Microsoft Surface Laptop 5 is a 13.5-inch mainstream notebook powered by a 12th Gen Intel Core i7-1265U deca-core processor. It ships with 16 GB of memory and a 256 GB solid-state drive running Windows 11 Pro. The unit carries a Grade B cosmetic rating due to a small press mark on the lid.

Professionals wanting a light 13.5" Windows 11 Pro

The 16 GB memory and 256 GB drive suit everyday office multitasking and cloud-first workflows. Buyers who need more local storage capacity or a larger display for creative timelines should look at alternative configurations. The Grade B lid mark makes it less suited for gifting or pristine fleet deployments.

Sustained workloads on the i7-1265U deca-core chip

Under continuous load the 12th Gen processor manages thermals within the slim chassis while keeping the touchscreen responsive. Battery life holds up through a typical workday of document editing and video calls. Heavy compile jobs or extended render queues will throttle clock speeds as the cooling system reaches equilibrium.
