Questions about this item

Does the 15.0-inch chassis leave room for a 2.5-inch drive bay or second M.2 slot?

The laptop uses a single 1000 GB PCIe NVMe drive and has no 2.5-inch bay or additional M.2 slot.

When reinstalling Windows 11 Home on the 16GB DDR5 system, which recovery method avoids driver issues?

Use the Microsoft Surface recovery image for this model; a generic Windows install misses the touchscreen and power-management drivers.

Can the 16GB DDR5 memory be upgraded later to the 32 GB maximum?

The 16GB is soldered and not user-replaceable, so the 32 GB ceiling applies only to factory-configured units.
