Snapdragon X2 Elite 12-core processor

The Microsoft Surface Laptop 8 EP2-59312 runs on a Qualcomm Snapdragon X2 Elite dodeca-core processor with integrated Adreno graphics. It is built as a Copilot+ PC for AI-accelerated Windows workflows. The 13.8-inch PixelSense Flow touchscreen delivers 2304 x 1536 resolution at 120 Hz. Sixteen gigabytes of LPDDR5x memory and a 1 TB SSD complete the core specification.

Suits mobile professionals needing all-day AI

Workers who rely on on-device AI features, long battery life and a bright touchscreen will benefit from this design. The system ships with Windows 11 and supports 802.11be wireless plus Bluetooth 5.4. Buyers who require discrete graphics, upgradeable memory or more than two Thunderbolt 4 ports should consider other form factors.

Verify Windows-on-Arm app compatibility

Confirm that your critical applications run natively or perform well under emulation on the Arm architecture. Check that one USB-A port and two Thunderbolt 4 connections cover your peripherals and external displays. The 16 GB memory is soldered, so future expansion is not possible.
