2U Rackrail Recessor for Server Cabinets

This 2U rackrail recessor fits standard server cabinets and provides a three-inch recess for equipment mounting. The black finish matches typical rack aesthetics and the unit occupies two rack spaces. It is designed for installers who need to set devices deeper within the enclosure.

Recessed Mounting for Cable Management

The three-inch depth moves mounted hardware back from the front rails, creating extra room for cable routing and connector clearance. This helps technicians maintain tidy cable runs and reduces strain on front-facing ports. Buyers who require a flush front-panel appearance or a deeper recess than three inches will need a different solution.

Questions about this item

Will the 3.5-inch high recessor require any periodic tightening of its mounting screws?

The 3.5-inch high recessor is a passive metal bracket with no moving parts, so no routine tightening or maintenance is needed after installation.

What is the first limitation you reach when the 3-inch deep recessor is used continuously in a high-vibration rack?

The 3-inch deep recessor has no active components or thermal limits; the only sustained-use constraint is the structural load rating of the rack rails themselves.
