Pack of five solid-brass flat corner braces for reinforcing right-angle joints
This pack contains five solid brass flat corner braces measuring 3/8 inch by 2 inches. They are designed to reinforce right-angle joints in woodworking, cabinetry and light structural repairs. The solid brass construction resists corrosion and suits both indoor and outdoor applications.
Each brace is made from solid brass rather than plated steel, so it will not rust when exposed to moisture. The flat profile sits flush against the workpiece, and the pre-drilled countersunk holes accept standard wood screws for a clean finish. Brass is softer than steel, so pilot holes are recommended to avoid stripping the screw heads during installation.
These braces replace stamped steel or zinc-plated corner brackets that can corrode and stain surrounding material over time. The jump is worth it when the project demands long-term appearance and corrosion resistance, such as marine cabinetry, outdoor furniture or visible interior joinery. They are not suited for heavy structural loads that require thick-gauge steel reinforcement.

The brace has pre-drilled holes sized for standard wood screws; choose a gauge that matches the hole diameter and a length suited to your material thickness.
The brace is 3/8" wide and 2" long on each leg, so the corner must accommodate at least that width on both faces.
Clamp the brace flush to both surfaces, drill pilot holes through the brace holes, then drive screws; skipping pilot holes often splits the wood or strips the brass.
