This pack contains 280 tiny brass nails measuring 1.2 mm in diameter and 20 mm in length. The round heads are 2.5 mm wide, and the shanks carry horizontal threads that resist loosening after driving. Brass construction gives good corrosion resistance and lasting hardness for indoor woodwork and craft projects.

For fine woodwork and decorative assembly

The nails suit model-making, jewellery boxes, picture frames, cabinet backs and other small wooden items where a standard brad would split the grain or look oversized. They are not intended for structural framing, outdoor exposure, or any joint that requires a larger shank diameter or greater holding power than the 1.2 mm wire provides.

1.2 mm shank diameter decides fit

The 1.2 mm wire size determines whether the nail can enter pilot holes in thin stock without splitting it and whether the threads can engage the surrounding wood fibres. If the project demands a thicker fastener for heavier joinery, a different nail diameter must be chosen.
