Trailer Towing Welded Rings

This five-pack supplies #6 thickness zinc-plated steel rings measuring 2 inches in diameter, designed for trailer, plow and towing equipment connections. The welded construction provides a secure closed loop for chain or rope attachment in yard and outdoor tasks.

Simple Bolt-On Installation

Each ring can be fastened with standard hardware matched to the #6 thickness, requiring only basic hand tools and no specialised equipment. The zinc plating resists corrosion during outdoor exposure, though the California Proposition 65 notice indicates the product contains chemicals identified by the state as causing cancer and reproductive harm.

Light-Duty Towing Capacity

The 2-inch diameter rings suit light-duty trailer and plow linkages where a single connection point is needed. They are not rated for heavy recovery loads or continuous high-tension applications, so users needing greater breaking strength should select a heavier gauge or rated shackle instead.

Questions about this item

How can I confirm the rings are properly secured after installation?

Check that each welded ring sits flush and shows no gap at the joint; the zinc-plated steel should hold its shape under load without bending.

What comes in the package and what must be purchased separately?

The pack includes five #6 x 2" zinc-plated steel welded rings; mounting hardware such as bolts or pins is not included.

Which version of the 60231 welded rings should I choose for my trailer?

The 60231 model is a single specification — #6 thickness, 2" diameter, zinc-plated steel, five per pack — so select it when those exact dimensions match your trailer or towing setup.
