Zinc-Plated Cotter Pins for General Fastening

This pack supplies ninety zinc-plated steel cotter pins measuring one-eighth inch by three-quarter inch. The split-pin design lets the two tines bend during installation to lock components together securely. They serve as a simple, reusable alternative to rivets or staples in light-duty metal assemblies.

Mechanics and DIYers needing bulk split pins

The ninety-piece quantity suits workshops that regularly secure clevis pins, castle nuts or drilled shafts. Buyers who require stainless steel for corrosive environments or larger diameters for heavy structural joints should seek a different specification.

Bulk packaging reduces re-order frequency

The ninety-count box keeps common sizes on hand for repeated maintenance tasks without frequent restocking. No additional tools, lubricants or installation hardware are included with the pins.

Questions about this item

What size drill bit or hole do I need for the 1/8" diameter cotter pins?

Drill a 1/8" hole through the parts you are securing; the pin's split tines are designed to fit that exact diameter.

Will these zinc-plated steel pins hold up against the older mild-steel brackets on my trailer?

The zinc coating resists corrosion, so the pins will not accelerate rust on mild-steel brackets in normal outdoor use.

How can I confirm the 90 pins are all usable after opening the pack?

Count the pieces — there should be 90 — and verify each pin has two straight tines and a smooth zinc finish with no bent legs.
