Mikrotik hAP ac RB962UIGS-5HACT2HNT 128MB 720MHz access point

Dual-band indoor access point

The MikroTik hAP ac is a compact dual-concurrent access point that delivers 2.4 GHz and 5 GHz Wi-Fi coverage simultaneously. It targets home users and small offices needing a single device for routing and wireless distribution. A 720 MHz CPU with 128 MB RAM runs RouterOS Level 4, providing full routing, firewall and management features. Five Gigabit Ethernet ports handle wired clients and uplink connections.

Simple setup with PoE flexibility

The unit ships pre-configured so you can connect an Ethernet cable, apply power and start using the network immediately. Power options include the supplied barrel-jack adapter or passive PoE from an external injector, which is not included. Port 5 provides PoE output to feed another PoE-capable device at the same input voltage. No special tools are required; the built-in antennas eliminate external antenna alignment.

Verify power source and regulatory limits

Confirm you have either a mains outlet for the included adapter or a passive PoE injector capable of supplying the unit. The PoE-out port passes through the same voltage, so the connected device must accept that level. Operating frequencies span 2412-2484 MHz and 5150-5875 MHz, but the exact usable channels are restricted by country regulations. Ensure the installation site complies with local spectrum rules before deployment.
