Genuine Compatible Replacement Lamp

The Mitsubishi GX-318 is a 180W P-VIP projector lamp module supplied as a fully assembled bulb and housing. It is designed for users who need a ready-to-install replacement for the VLT-XD221LP model. The unit arrives new and passes strict quality checks for beam performance, ignition, voltage, appearance, connections and run-time.

Check Projector Model Compatibility

Before ordering, confirm that your Mitsubishi projector uses the VLT-XD221LP lamp module. Verify the existing lamp part number and ensure the projector accepts a 180W P-VIP bulb. Note that multiple OEM and compatible versions exist, so match the specific module to your device requirements.

Lamp Life and Power Draw

The lamp runs at 180W and delivers a rated life of 3000 hours in normal mode or 4000 hours in economy mode. Normal operation will produce typical projector heat and fan noise associated with a 180W light source. Economy mode reduces power draw and extends the replacement interval.

Questions about this item

Does the GX-318 lamp module ship with the housing and bulb already assembled or must I buy the housing separately?

How many hours can I expect from the 180W P-VIP bulb in normal and economy modes before replacement?

Rated life is 3000 hours in normal mode and 4000 hours in economy mode for the 180W P-VIP bulb inside the GX-318 module.
