Ready-to-use business projector

The Mitsubishi WD570U is a new DLP projector built for meeting rooms and classrooms. It produces 3500 lumens from a native 1280 x 800 panel and accepts 1080p signals. Integrated 10.0 W mono speakers and multiple mounting options simplify permanent or portable setups.

Presenters needing wired network control

HDMI, VGA, USB-A, USB-B, S-Video, LAN and RS-232 ports cover most legacy and current sources. Crestron RoomView support suits managed AV estates. Buyers who require wireless screen mirroring, Bluetooth audio or battery-powered operation should look at other models.

Brightness drives the buying decision

At 3500 lumens the image stays readable with lights on and blinds open. The 3000:1 contrast ratio and fixed 1280 x 800 resolution suit slides, spreadsheets and video playback. If your room demands higher pixel density or darker blacks, this specification will not meet the need.

Questions about this item

Does the WD570U ship with any cables or a remote control, or do I need to buy them separately?

The projector includes an HDMI cable, a VGA cable, a USB cable, a power cord and a remote control with batteries so no extra accessories are required for typical use.

Should I choose the 3000-lumen or 3500-lumen brightness setting for a lit meeting room?

Use the 3500-lumen mode for rooms with ambient light; the 3000-lumen low-power mode suits darker spaces and extends lamp life.

What does the 1280x800 native resolution mean when I connect a 1080p laptop?

The projector accepts a 1080p signal and scales it to its 1280x800 DLP panel, so you see a slightly softer image than on a native 1080p display.
