Product Purpose

Moab Entrada Rag Matte Fine Art Paper is a dual-sided 100% cotton rag paper designed for photographers and print-makers who need museum-grade output. The pack contains 25 sheets sized 17 by 22 inches. It works with both dye and pigment inks and performs well with the latest Epson Ultrachrome inks.

Ink Handling

Multiple receiving layers give the paper a high ink load capacity that produces instant drying and water resistance. Prints show exceptional detail, excellent tonality, a maximum colour gamut and deep blacks. The surface is available in 190 gsm and 300 gsm weights to suit different handling preferences.

Build Integration

Sheets are double-sided so each piece yields two printable surfaces, reducing the number of sheets a project consumes. The 17 by 22 inch format fits large-format printers that accept this paper size. No special coatings or printer modifications are required beyond standard fine-art media settings.

Questions about this item

How do I load the 17x22 inch sheets so the printer prints on the correct side?

The paper is double-sided with identical coating on both faces, so either side can face the print head; just align the 17 inch edge to the tray guides and let the printer feed the 22 inch length.

Will the cotton rag fibres shed dust that clogs print heads over time?

The 100% cotton rag base is manufactured to fine-art tolerances and does not release loose fibres; normal printer maintenance cycles are sufficient.

At what ink volume does the coating stop absorbing and start pooling?

Multiple receiving layers give a high ink-load capacity, so even heavy Ultrachrome pigment coverage dries instantly without pooling.
