Adds a rear-panel USB-C 3.1 port via the motherboard Type-E header using a 40 cm cable and PCI bracket
This cable connects a motherboard USB 3.1 Type-E header to a PCI-slot USB-C connector. It provides a rear-panel USB 3.1 Type-C port for cases or builds lacking one. The 40 cm length suits standard ATX and micro-ATX layouts. Builders needing front-panel Type-C headers will not use this product.
The 40 cm (1.3 ft) cable spans typical motherboard-to-rear distances without excess slack. It handles USB 3.1 Gen 2 bandwidth for compatible devices. Builds with the header far from the rear I/O area may find the reach insufficient. Longer routing needs are not met by this cable.
A PCI-slot cover bracket is supplied for a clean rear-panel installation. No drivers, software or additional adapters are included. The bracket secures the USB-C port in a standard expansion slot. Systems without a free PCI slot cannot mount the connector.
