25 ft 3.5 mm stereo extension

This 25-foot black cable extends a fixed 3.5 mm stereo connection. A male TRS plug on one end and a female TRS jack on the other feature molded housings and strain relief boots. The 7.62 metre length suits earphones or portable players needing extra reach. Model 100650 is supplied new from Monoprice.

Who this suits and who should look elsewhere

Buyers needing a longer male-to-female 3.5 mm stereo link for headphones or mobile devices will find this fit. Installers requiring balanced audio, microphone contacts, or a different connector type should look elsewhere. The cable does not carry a combined headset signal or digital audio. It addresses simple analogue stereo extension only.

Male-to-female 3.5 mm TRS connectors

The decisive specification is the male 3.5 mm stereo plug to female 3.5 mm stereo jack arrangement. This gender pairing extends an existing cable without adapting the signal. Verify that both source and destination use standard TRS sockets before purchasing.

Questions about this item

Should I choose the 25 ft length or a shorter version for my headphones?

The 25 ft length gives maximum reach from a fixed source to your listening position; choose a shorter cable only if you need less slack to avoid tangles.

What does the 3.5 mm stereo TRS specification mean when I plug this into my phone?

It matches the standard headphone jack on portable players and phones, so the male plug connects to the device and the female jack accepts your existing headphone cable.

Does the male-to-female 3.5 mm TRS interface limit audio quality or channel support?

The TRS wiring carries left and right stereo channels plus ground, preserving the full analog signal your headphones expect without digital conversion or channel loss.
