Two-channel audio cable for stereo links

The Monoprice 105348 is a 15 ft premium RCA cable built with RG-59 75 ohm coaxial construction. It carries left and right analogue signals between source components and amplifiers or receivers. The 22AWG conductor and full shielding protect the signal path from EMI and RFI noise. Gold-plated male plugs on both ends resist corrosion and maintain low-contact resistance over time.

Shielded coaxial design rejects interference

The RG-59 75 ohm coaxial geometry and 22AWG centre conductor keep the cable’s own capacitance low while the braided shield blocks external electromagnetic and radio-frequency fields. In normal indoor installations this prevents hum or buzz from nearby power supplies, lighting dimmers or wireless routers. The passive construction draws no power and adds no active noise of its own.

Colour-coded grip rings speed installation

Each connector head carries embedded rubber rings in channel colours so you can identify and seat the plugs by feel, even behind crowded equipment racks. The rings also give a secure finger hold when inserting or removing the cable, reducing strain on the solder joints. No software, drivers or additional adapters are included or required.

Questions about this item

How do I install the 15 ft RCA cable and what step is often missed?

Plug each gold-plated male connector into the matching colour-coded RCA jack, then press firmly until the embedded rubber rings seat fully — the grip rings are the step many users skip.

What maintenance or replacement will the 22AWG shielded cable need later?

The gold plating resists corrosion and the RG-59 75 ohm coax shield prevents EMI/RFI ingress, so no routine maintenance is required; only physical damage would warrant replacement.

What limit appears first during sustained use of the 105348 cable?

Signal attenuation over the 4.572 m length is the first practical limit; the 22AWG conductor and 75 ohm impedance keep loss low for typical audio runs.
