Cat6 Punch-Down Keystone Jack

This Monoprice keystone jack accepts 22-24AWG solid wire and terminates to an RJ45 port for Cat6 network runs. It mounts in any standard keystone wall plate or patch panel for a clean, permanent installation. The beige colour helps identify the connection point in structured cabling layouts. Part number 105381 confirms the exact model for reordering or documentation.

Thermals Noise and Power Draw

As a passive punch-down connector the jack draws no power and generates no heat or audible noise during operation. Signal integrity depends on correct termination rather than active circuitry. The component adds negligible resistance to the link and requires no cooling or power budget in the rack or wall cavity.

Questions about this item

How do I punch down solid 22-24AWG wires into this Cat6 keystone jack?

Strip each conductor, follow the colour code printed on the jack, seat wires in the IDC slots, then press fully with a standard punch-down tool.

Will the beige colour fade or the contacts degrade so I need to replace the jack later?

The jack is rated for Cat6 performance life; no scheduled maintenance is required unless physical damage occurs.
