15 ft RG59U Coaxial RCA Cable

This 15 ft RG59U coaxial cable carries S/PDIF digital audio, composite video and line-level RCA signals between components. The 75 ohm characteristic impedance matches standard consumer audio and video interfaces. Gold-plated RCA male connectors on each end provide corrosion-resistant contact. It is suited for home-theatre, subwoofer and digital coax connections.

Double Shielding Limits Interference

An inner aluminium-Mylar foil with 100 % coverage and an outer copper braid block EMI and RFI that would degrade high-bandwidth signals. The VW-1 rated jacket meets residential in-wall fire safety requirements for concealed runs. Oxygen-free copper conductors preserve signal integrity over the full length.

75 Ohm Impedance Decides Compatibility

The cable’s 75 ohm impedance must match the source and destination ports for error-free digital audio and composite video transmission. Mismatched impedance causes reflections that corrupt S/PDIF streams and degrade picture quality. Verify that both devices specify 75 ohm RCA connections before purchase.

Questions about this item

How long is the 106304 cable and will 15 ft reach my equipment?

The cable measures 15 ft end to end, so it will span that distance between two RCA sockets; allow a little slack for routing around furniture.

What does the 75 ohm rating mean when I connect it to my subwoofer or S/PDIF input?

A 75 ohm coaxial cable matches the impedance of digital coax and subwoofer outputs, preventing reflections that can corrupt the signal.

Does the RG59U construction with double shielding support in-wall installation?

Yes, the VW-1 rated jacket meets residential fire-safety requirements for running inside walls.
