A 30-foot Cat5e patch cable with 350 MHz bandwidth, 24 AWG pure bare copper conductors and 50 µm gold-plated contacts for reliable Gigabit Ethernet connections
This 30-foot Cat5e patch cable uses 24 AWG stranded pure bare copper conductors with 50-micron gold-plated contacts. It delivers 350 MHz bandwidth and meets UL 444 and TIA-568-C requirements for communications wiring. The blue jacket includes colour-matched snagless boots that protect the RJ45 latch during routing.
It replaces cables that only offer 10-micron gold plating or copper-clad aluminium conductors, which can fail certification. The jump is worth it when you need verified pure copper construction for PoE runs or inspector-approved installations.
The snagless strain-relief boots slide over the connector without tools and prevent the tab from catching on adjacent ports. The only common issue is routing the 9.144-metre length through tight conduit bends where the boot can add friction.
Measured against everything we stock in Ethernet & LAN Cables, at today’s prices. Recalculated every night.

The cable uses standard RJ45 plugs with 50-micron gold-plated contacts and color-matched snagless boots.
Press the boot tab down fully before pushing the plug into the port; forcing it at an angle can crack the strain-relief boot.
Replace it if the boot tabs break, the jacket shows cuts or kinks, or you experience frequent link drops at 350 MHz bandwidth.
