Two-line wall plates for 4P4C termination

These ivory duplex plates provide two standard telephone jacks in a single-gang footprint. They accept 4-conductor (4P4C) wiring for each line. The pack contains two identical plates for multi-room or multi-line installations. Suitable for residential or small-office telephone cabling.

Fixed mechanical connection

The plates contain no electronics and therefore generate no heat, draw no power and have no thermal throttling behaviour. Performance is limited only by the quality of the punched-down wiring and the cable plant behind the wall. There is no firmware, no driver and no load-dependent degradation to consider.

Requires separate single-gang low-voltage mounting

Installation cannot be completed without purchasing compatible low-voltage brackets that are not included in the pack. Buyers who need surface-mount boxes, modular jack inserts or pre-wired keystone modules should look for those specific accessories instead.

Questions about this item

Does the 130807 wall plate generate any noise, heat or draw power when telephone lines are active all day?

The plate is a passive termination device with no electronic components, so it produces no noise, no heat and draws no power.

What mounting hardware must I already have for the 130807 duplex jack to install securely?

A single-gang low-voltage mounting bracket is required and sold separately.

Will the 130807 plate work with the older four-conductor phone wiring already in my walls?

Yes, it is designed specifically to terminate two 4-conductor (4P4C) telephone lines, matching that legacy wiring.
