In-Wall 6.5-Inch Carbon Fiber 3-Way Pair

This pair of 6.5-inch in-wall speakers uses carbon fiber woofers, mid-range drivers and silk dome tweeters in a three-way design. The magnetic metal grilles can be painted to match the surrounding wall for a discreet appearance. They are built for home theatre or music listening where floor-standing cabinets are not wanted.

Check Wall Cavity and Wiring Before Ordering

Verify that the wall cavity depth and stud spacing can accommodate the speaker frame and the included cutout template. Ensure your amplifier or receiver can drive the speaker's impedance and that you have suitable speaker cable up to 10AWG for the run. The high-frequency attenuator on the baffle allows treble adjustment after installation.

Sustained Output with Lower Distortion

The carbon fiber cones are lighter and stiffer than conventional materials, allowing the drivers to handle more power with significantly less distortion during extended playback. This means the speakers maintain clarity at higher volumes over long sessions rather than compressing or harshness appearing only in short bursts.

Questions about this item

Does the 134199 pair include speaker wire or only the mounting template and grille?

The box contains two speakers, a cutout template, magnetic metal grilles and mounting tabs. Speaker cable is not included and must be purchased separately.

What does the 6.5-inch carbon-fiber woofer actually deliver once the speaker is installed in a wall?

The carbon-fiber woofer is lighter and stiffer than conventional cones, so it hits harder, reaches lower frequencies and handles more power with less distortion. The built-in high-frequency attenuator lets you tame bright treble after installation.
