Monoprice 138078 RCA cable 25 ft Onix Series

Two-channel stereo audio cable

The Monoprice 138078 Onix Series cable carries left and right analogue audio signals between source components and an amplifier or receiver. It uses two gold-plated male RCA connectors on each end for a secure, corrosion-resistant connection. The 97 percent pure oxygen-free copper conductor aims to preserve signal integrity over the full run. This 25 foot length suits installations where equipment sits far from the listening position.

Double-shielded construction with braided jacket

A double copper braid shield surrounds the RG-6/U core to block EMI and RFI interference that can degrade audio quality. The plastic jacket is encased in a braided nylon sleeve that resists nicks and cuts while maintaining flexibility for routing around corners. CL2-rated insulation meets fire safety requirements for in-wall residential installation, allowing the cable to be run inside walls or ceilings. Gold-plated connectors add long-term reliability against oxidation.

Check your source and destination RCA spacing

Verify that both your playback device and amplifier or receiver present standard female RCA inputs spaced to accept dual male plugs. The cable carries line-level analogue audio only and will not transmit digital, video or powered speaker signals. Measure the actual path length including vertical runs to confirm 25 feet provides adequate slack without excess cable coiled behind equipment. Ensure local building codes accept CL2 rating for your planned in-wall route.
