Six-foot C13 extension cords for desktop setups

This six-pack supplies 1.8288-metre leads that bridge a standard NEMA 5-15P wall plug to an IEC 60320 C13 inlet. They suit offices or home labs where multiple PCs, monitors, scanners or printers need reliable mains connections from a single power strip or UPS.

14AWG conductors with grounded NEMA and C13 ends

Each cord uses 14AWG copper rated for 15 amps, with a moulded three-prong plug on one side and a locking C13 socket on the other. The grounded design meets basic safety expectations for continuous desktop loads, and the fixed length keeps cable routing predictable across a row of equipment.

Six matched cables simplify spare management

The uniform pack means every workstation draws from the same stock, so a failed or misplaced lead is replaced without hunting for a different length or gauge. No software or adapters are included; the value is purely in having six identical, ready-to-use mains links.

Questions about this item

What current does the NEMA 5-15P to IEC 60320 C13 cord support in practice?

The 14AWG conductors are rated for 15 A at North American mains voltage.

What physical clearance does the C13 connector need behind the device inlet?

The straight C13 body requires enough rear space for the connector housing and cable bend radius.

How is the cord installed, and what step is often missed?

Mate the female C13 to the male C14 panel inlet on the device, then plug the NEMA 5-15P into the outlet; the step often missed is fully seating the C13 until it clicks.
