Viper Series 12G SDI BNC Cable

The Monoprice Viper Series cable carries UHD-SDI video signals at 12 Gbps over a 1.5 ft RG-12 coaxial run. It is built for broadcast studios, mobile production trucks and home installations that need reliable 4K 60 Hz transport.

Check your gear before ordering

Verify that both source and destination devices have true 75-ohm BNC ports rated for 12 Gbps SDI. Confirm the 1.5 ft length reaches between your patch panels or camera and recorder without strain. Ensure your workflow uses UHD-SDI rather than HD-SDI or 3G-SDI formats.

Replaces shorter-run HD or 3G-SDI cables

Upgrade when your current 75-ohm BNC cables cannot pass 4K 60 Hz without dropouts or when you need the lower attenuation of solid 16 AWG copper with dual shielding. The jump is worth it for any path that must carry 12 Gbps serial digital video reliably.
