This Monoprice SlimRun Cat6A patch cable delivers 10‑Gigabit Ethernet performance over a 50 ft run. It uses 30 AWG pure bare copper conductors instead of copper‑clad aluminium, meeting UL 444 and TIA‑568‑C.2 fire‑safety requirements. The narrow snagless boot eases routing in dense racks. It is built for installers who need high‑speed links in tight pathways.

Replaces bulkier 23 AWG Cat6A

Standard 23 AWG Cat6A cables occupy twice the diameter, limiting how many links fit in a tray or conduit. This 30 AWG design lets you add or upgrade 10G connections without expanding cable pathways, saving labour and material cost. The jump is worth it when rack space or airflow is constrained and you cannot enlarge existing routing. It is not for runs that exceed the 50 ft length supplied.

Limited to 10GBASE‑T distance rules

The cable supports 10‑Gigabit Ethernet only up to the channel length allowed by the 10GBASE‑T standard; longer runs will fall back to lower speeds. Backwards compatibility covers Fast Ethernet and Gigabit Ethernet, but the 30 AWG gauge does not extend the maximum distance defined for 10G operation. No other speed grades or protocols are specified.
