50 ft RG59U 75 ohm Coaxial Cable

This 50 ft RG59U coaxial cable carries 75 ohm signals for S/PDIF digital audio, composite video and subwoofer connections. The oxygen-free copper conductor and double shielding suit home-theatre and professional audio installations.

Plug-and-play RCA connectors with double shielding

Male RCA plugs on both ends require no tools or configuration. The inner Aluminum-Mylar foil with 100 % coverage and outer copper braid block EMI and RFI interference. The VW-1 rated jacket meets residential in-wall fire safety requirements.

75 ohm impedance matches digital coax

The 75 ohm characteristic impedance is the single specification that determines compatibility with S/PDIF, digital coax and composite video gear. It is not suited for 50 ohm RF applications or balanced audio lines.

Questions about this item

How can I verify the 75 ohm coaxial cable is passing a clean S/PDIF signal after connecting it?

Check your receiver or DAC for a solid digital-audio lock indicator and listen for drop-free playback; the double-shielded RG59U construction with 99.999 % pure oxygen-free copper conductor is designed to prevent EMI and RFI degradation.

What connectors and accessories are included with the 50 ft RG59U cable and what must I provide separately?

The cable arrives terminated with male RCA plugs on both ends; no extra adapters, ferrules or tools are supplied, so have any needed keystone wall plates or couplers ready if you plan an in-wall run.

When should I choose this 50 ft RG59U 75 ohm version over a shorter or differently shielded coaxial RCA cable?

Select this length when the source and destination are up to 50 ft apart and you need VW-1 rated jacket for in-wall installation; the foil-plus-braid shield and 75 ohm impedance suit S/PDIF, composite video and subwoofer signals alike.
