Single-to-Dual RCA Splitter

This six-inch adapter takes one RCA female socket and splits the signal to two RCA male plugs, letting a single source feed two destinations. It handles S/PDIF digital audio, composite video and other line-level RCA signals. The short pigtail keeps cable runs tidy in tight AV racks or behind equipment.

Replaces Improvised Y-Cables

Builders who have been using makeshift Y-adapters or chaining multiple cables gain a purpose-built, shielded solution that maintains signal integrity. The jump is worth it when EMI or RFI noise appears on long runs or when a cleaner install matters more than raw length.

Fits Coax Digital and Analogue Lines

The RG-6/U construction with double copper braid shielding slots into existing coaxial digital audio paths without extra converters. It frees up a second output on the source device and reduces the number of separate cables needed for dual-zone audio or video distribution.

Questions about this item

How much clearance does the 6-inch cable need behind my equipment rack?

The adapter measures 6 inches end-to-end, so allow at least that depth plus room for the RCA plugs to seat fully without bending the cable sharply.

Which end connects to my source and which end splits to two inputs?

Plug the single RCA female jack into your source output, then connect the two RCA male plugs to the destination inputs; reversing them will not split the signal correctly.

Will the RG-6/U coaxial cable or the double copper braid shielding degrade over time?

The RG-6/U construction with double copper braid is designed for long-term use; no periodic maintenance is required unless a connector becomes physically damaged.
