Cat6 550 MHz cable for wired networking

This Cat6 patch cable uses 24AWG stranded pure copper conductors and 50µm gold-plated RJ45 contacts. It is wired to the TIA/EIA-568B standard and rated for 550 MHz bandwidth. The black jacket and snagless strain-relief boots suit home, office or rack installations.

Fits standard RJ45 ports and frees wireless spectrum

Plug the RJ45 connectors into any gigabit switch, router, modem or network card with a matching port. The pure copper construction meets UL 444 and TIA-568-C.2 fire-safety requirements for in-wall runs. A wired link removes contention from Wi-Fi channels and eliminates radio interference.

Handles gigabit speeds

The 550 MHz rating comfortably carries 1 Gbps traffic at full 100 m distance and supports 10 Gbps up to the shorter limit defined by the 10GBASE-T standard. Beyond that distance the cable runs out of margin for multi-gigabit rates, so longer 10G links need a higher-category cable.
