Active DisplayPort to HDMI adapter

This active adapter converts a DisplayPort 1.2a source signal to HDMI 2.0, enabling 3840x2160 resolution at 60Hz with HDR support. It handles up to 18Gbps bandwidth and carries 32 audio channels at 1536kHz sampling. The compact black unit is designed for direct connection between a computer and a 4K display.

Ideal for modern 4K HDR displays

It suits users connecting a DisplayPort graphics card or laptop to an HDMI 2.0 monitor or TV that requires 60Hz 4K and HDR. It is not for setups needing passive conversion, Dual-Mode DP++ sources, or connections to displays limited to HDMI 1.4 bandwidth.

HDMI 2.0 and HDCP 2.2 compliance

Full compliance with HDMI 2.0 and HDCP 2.2 specifications decides whether this adapter works with protected 4K streaming content and high-refresh 4K screens. Without this certification the adapter cannot deliver the stated 18Gbps performance or HDR metadata.

Questions about this item

Will this DisplayPort 1.2a adapter work with my older HDMI 1.4 monitor?

Yes, it is backward compatible; the monitor will simply run at its own maximum resolution and refresh rate instead of the full 3840x2160p at 60Hz.

How can I verify the adapter is delivering 4K 60Hz HDR after I plug it in?

Open your display settings and confirm the output shows 3840x2160p at 60Hz with HDR enabled; the adapter supports up to 18Gbps bandwidth for that mode.

Does the 133125 package include an HDMI cable or do I need to buy one separately?

The box contains only the active adapter itself; you must supply your own HDMI cable to reach the display.
