Onix Series RCA stereo cable

The Monoprice Onix Series cable carries two-channel analogue audio between source components and an amplifier or receiver. Male RCA plugs at both ends provide a direct left-and-right connection for CD players, turntables or other line-level devices. Double copper-braid shielding and 97 percent pure oxygen-free copper conductors protect the signal from EMI and RFI interference.

0.9144 metre length for near-field links

At 0.9144 metres the cable suits equipment placed close together on a rack or desktop, keeping excess slack to a minimum. The short run preserves signal integrity without audible loss, but it cannot bridge wider gaps between separated components. Installers needing longer reaches must select a different length.

CL2-rated jacket for in-wall routing

A braided nylon sleeve over the CL2-rated jacket resists nicks and cuts while meeting residential fire-safety requirements for in-wall installation. Gold-plated connectors resist corrosion for reliable long-term contact. The cable carries analogue stereo only, so systems requiring digital coaxial, HDMI or multi-channel connections will need additional cables.

Questions about this item

Will the 0.9144 m cable reach from a vintage turntable to a modern AV receiver?

The cable measures 0.9144 m end to end, so it suits setups where the turntable and receiver sit on the same shelf or rack; measure your gap first.

How can I verify the gold plated connectors are making solid contact after plugging in?

Push each RCA plug fully home until the outer shell seats flush; a clean, hum-free signal on both left and right channels confirms good contact.

Does the box include speaker wire or banana plugs for the amplifier side?

Only the 138076 RCA stereo cable with two male gold plated connectors on each end is supplied; speaker wire and banana plugs are sold separately.
