Monolith C5 Center Channel Speaker

The Monolith C5 is a dedicated center channel speaker designed for home theater systems. It uses two 5.25" woofers and a 20mm silk dome tweeter to reproduce dialogue and on-screen effects with clarity. The cabinet is built from MDF with internal bracing to reduce resonance.

Buyers building a matched Monolith Audition

This speaker is timbre-matched to the Audition Series bookshelf and tower models, ensuring a cohesive front soundstage for movie soundtracks. It is not suitable for buyers who need a standalone stereo pair or a powered speaker with built-in amplification.

Two 5.25" woofers with waveguide tweeter

The dual woofers handle midrange and bass duties while the 20mm tweeter sits inside a custom waveguide for wider dispersion. This driver combination determines whether the speaker fits your tonal preferences and room size.

Questions about this item

How does the 20mm silk dome tweeter waveguide affect sound dispersion?

The custom waveguide widens the tweeter's dispersion pattern, creating a larger sweet spot and more precise imaging for dialogue and effects.

What are the cabinet dimensions and clearance needed for the 5.25-inch woofers?

The MDF cabinet with internal bracing houses dual 5.25-inch woofers; allow several centimetres behind the rear port for proper bass response.

Which wire connection method works with the 5-way binding posts for a secure fit?

Use banana plugs, spade lugs, or bare wire twisted tightly into the post holes; tighten the caps fully to prevent loose strands causing shorts.
