Product Identity

The Monoprice 144695 is a 2.4 GHz digital wireless lavalier microphone kit built for video recording, vlogging and live streaming. It ships with two lapel transmitters and one receiver equipped with an OLED display. A rechargeable 180 mAh battery powers up to eight hours of continuous operation per charge.

Ideal Use Cases

This kit suits solo creators, interviewers and mobile journalists who need two wireless sources on a single receiver. It connects via 3.5 mm plugs to cameras, DSLRs, phones and camcorders. Buyers who need XLR output, onboard recording or more than two simultaneous transmitters should look at other solutions.

Deciding Specification

The system operates on a 2.4 GHz wireless link with two included 3.5 mm microphone extension cables. That frequency and connector combination determines whether it pairs with your recorder or camera without extra adapters.

Questions about this item

How do I set up the 2.4 GHz wireless lavalier kit and what step do users often miss?

Pair both transmitters to the single receiver, connect the receiver's 3.5 mm output to your camera or phone, then select the correct channel on the OLED display; the step most people miss is confirming both TX units show the same channel before recording.

What maintenance will the 180 mAh rechargeable batteries need over time?

Recharge each transmitter and the receiver via USB-C after every 8 hours of use; battery capacity will gradually decline, so plan to replace the entire kit when run-time drops below your session length.

What limit appears first during a long shoot with the 2.4 GHz link?

The 8-hour battery life of the 180 mAh cells is the first hard limit; wireless range holds stable well before the batteries need recharging via USB-C.
