  • Pure bare copper conductors meet UL 444 and TIA-568-C.2 fire standards
  • 550 MHz bandwidth supports high-speed gigabit data transmission
  • 50 µm gold-plated contacts resist corrosion for reliable signal integrity
  • Flexboot snagless design protects the retaining clip and eases unplugging

12-pack Cat6 patch cables

This 12-pack supplies Cat6 patch cables for wiring 12, 24, 48 or 96-port networking devices and panels. Each cable is three feet long and uses 24AWG stranded pure bare copper conductors. The flexboot design makes the retaining clip easier to depress during installation and removal.

550MHz bandwidth and UTP construction

The unshielded twisted-pair cables are rated for 550MHz bandwidth and tested to support one gigabit transmission. Gold-plated contacts at 50 microns help prevent signal loss from corrosion. The construction meets UL Code 444 and TIA-568-C.2 requirements for pure bare copper communications cable.

Three-foot length for dense patching

The short length keeps cable management tidy inside rack enclosures and high-density patch panels. Builders needing longer runs or shielded cable for noisy environments will need a different product. The flexboot protects the clip but does not add bulk that could block adjacent ports.

Questions about this item

Should I buy the 12-pack or a smaller quantity for my patch panel?

The 12-pack is sized for 12, 24, 48 or 96-port panels so you can fill a full rack or keep spares without opening multiple boxes.

What does the 550 MHz rating deliver on a real network?

It provides headroom above the Cat6 1 Gigabit spec so the link stays clean at full speed even with longer runs or dense bundles.

How does the UTP construction limit what I can do with the cable?

Unshielded twisted pair works for standard indoor runs but is not rated for outdoor burial or high-EMI environments where shielded cable is required.
